    Yu Xiang is a third year PhD candidate in the field of international communication at the University of Westminster in London, UK. Her current research interests follow the aspects of theoretical development within the cultural imperialism paradigm, along with audience research into the practice of international news as well as specifically exploring China’s media flow to Africa with a focus on (China Central Television) CCTV-Africa.
