    Daniel Trottier is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Social and Digital Media at the University of Westminster’s Communication and Media Research Institute (CAMRI). He is author of the books Social Media as Surveillance (2012) and Identity Problems in the Facebook Era (forthcoming) as well as co-editor (together with Christian Fuchs) of Social Media, Politics and the State: Protests, Revolutions, Riots, Crime and Policing in the Age of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube (forthcoming).
